We caught only one fish at each stop, and the phrase "well, that's fishing" echoed. Around 11 o'clock, the day took a turn for the better with an 11-pounder putting on a spectacular show, grabbing a 10-inch shiner mid-air. Wrapping up the day, we had a total of 9 additional catches, including the joyous moment of a young lady's first fish. The water temperature stands at 63.5 degrees, and floating vegetation poses some challenges, contingent on the wind direction.
